We have recently been dedicating our team to revamping the British Chamber of Commerce website and it has been an exciting project for all of us. It is now online and accessible at http://www.britishchambershanghai.org/

The British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai is the first point of call for British companies and individual entrepreneurs wanting to start or already doing business in China. It provides topical information, a great amount of services and networking possibilities to facilitate market entry and business for its members.

Requirements
As such, the website needed a lot of interactive features that had to be secure and user-friendly at the same time. It required both a viable membership management solution as well as an automated handling of the various business processes. In creating a useful platform for the client, we had to constantly be aware of their needs and still be dedicated and flexible in executing this project.

The team has been bringing together a comprehensive website portal that will be to the benefit of the user as well as the Chamber. It established an Advertising Space Management that will bring some revenue for the website. The membership management with a Billing and Invoice system will facilitate and reduce their internal administrative tasks. And with the help of a Drupal CMS, new content is easily manageable in-house.
